Mary Becker has been with Medical Resource Network since 2003 and brings 42 years of nursing experience, including 33 years of legal nurse consulting, to the evaluation of complex medical and claims matters. Mary supports attorneys, insurers, TPAs, self-insured organizations, and healthcare entities on medical malpractice, personal injury, workers’ compensation, catastrophic injury, and product liability matters.
Mary’s clinical and leadership background spans telemetry, pulmonary intensive care, medical/surgical, hospital nursing administration, catastrophic case management, and workers’ compensation consulting. She has extensive experience providing long-term case management for patients with new catastrophic injuries — following claims through their full life cycle and educating adjusters on the medical relationships and long-term implications of catastrophic injury.
She has served as a liaison among medical providers, managed care organizations, billing offices, trauma centers, and insurers, and led special projects including electronic records transfer and development of standards of practice. Mary is nationally accredited as a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and is known for translating complex medical issues into clear, practical guidance for legal and claims teams handling high-exposure matters.
