Carolyn Walkley brings 53 years of nursing experience and more than 18 years of legal nurse consulting to Medical Resource Network. She works with attorneys, insurers, TPAs, self-insured companies, adjusters, and healthcare facilities on medical malpractice, personal injury, and product liability — including environmental, medical device, and pharmaceutical matters.
Carolyn’s clinical and administrative experience is unusually broad. On the clinical side, she has worked in intensive care, critical care, medical/surgical and oncology units, as well as in outpatient diagnostic, home care, and oncology settings. On the administrative side, Carolyn has served as an administrator of a cancer center, administrator of a home care services organization, and interim director of a rehabilitation facility. She is a trained Medicare fraud investigator specializing in identification and detection of fraud, waste, and abuse, and she previously served as a hospital surveyor for the Washington State Department of Health — experience that makes Carolyn a particularly strong fit for cases involving billing, documentation, regulatory compliance, and systemic care issues.
