Karen Fox, President of The Medical Resource Network, Inc., is a Registered Nurse with 20 years of consulting experience in her 25 year career as a nurse. Karen attended Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing and Linfield College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Karen has been involved in the analysis and evaluation of medical malpractice, product liability, and general liability claims and litigation since 1982. Karen was a nurse consultant for the Attorney General's office and a defense law firm before starting her business in 1993. Karen is certified in healthcare risk management and legal nurse consulting. She also holds an insurance license as an independent adjuster for general lines. Karen has lectured extensively regarding medical/legal and nursing documentation issues. She has a varied clinical background in adult care and neonatal intensive care. She has been an adjunct professor of nursing at Linfield College, and she is presently an honorary faculty member at Linfield. Karen is a past President of a national nursing association, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. She is also a past President of the Oregon Society for Healthcare Risk Management.

Peggy is the Vice-President/Operations of The Medical Resource Network Inc., where she has worked since 1996. She is an attorney and a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1980. Peggy has worked for law firms in Florida and Oregon. Peggy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Linfield College. While at Linfield College, she was named to the Deanšs List (1994-1996) and received the 1996 Senior Honors in Nursing Award. Peggy is active in community and professional organizations. She has authored a number of articles for various professional journals and newsletters. Peggy recently served as a member of the Health Care Committee for the Governoršs Commission on Senior Services. She is a past Chair of the American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board. She is a past President of the Oregon Society for Health Care Risk Management and the Greater Portland/Valley Chapter of Legal Nurse Consultants.
